Sky Atlantic brings you a sure-fire hit with a brand new exclusive British drama, Hit & Miss! Academy award nominee Chloë Sevigny is Mia, an undercover contract killer with an even bigger secret to conceal. Under the guidance of criminal lynchpin Eddie (Peter Wright), Mia has lived a secluded, repetitive existence. However, the arrival of revelations penned by her ex Wendy threatens to throw things off balance. Created by Shameless and State of Play writer Paul Abbott, Hit & Miss is definitely one you don't want to miss!

The South Bank Sky Arts Awards

1st May, 9pm

Lord Melvyn Bragg returns to salute the very best of British culture. Nominees for this year's coveted awards include artists Grayson Perry and David Hockney, whilst Kate Bush will challenge two-time Mercury prize winner PJ Harvey and international superstar Adele for the Pop Music accolade. The award-winning talent this year promises to be just as diverse as last year's nods to rapper Plan B and the Welsh National Opera - perfect viewing for those anticipating the return of the legendary The South Bank Show later this month.

Sky Arts' season of new comedy drama continues with some stellar talent. The biggest highlight of this month must be double Oscar winner Emma Thompson joined by Russell Tovey and Eddie Marsan in Walking the Dogs (May 31st), a dramatization of the moment an intruder paid a visit to the Queen in her own bedroom. Alison Steadman and Brenda Blethyn will join the living legend, Sir Tom Jones, in his first acting role in domestic drama King Of The Teds (3rd May). Later this month Olivia Williams gets vocal about the London riots in City Hall (10th May), Gina McKee faces home truths as a nurse on an impoverished council estate in Care (May 17th) and finally Whilst Douglas Henshall battles his way through a post-apocalyptic Britain as The Snipist (May 24th).

Freddie Flintoff Goes Wild

Freddie Flintoff joins the African tribes of the Serengeti, the Northern Territory Aborigines and the people who call the Borneo Jungle home to learn more key survival skills - and let's face it, he's going to need them if he wants to survive blisteringly hot conditions, poisonous plants, the world's most ferocious predators and lethal creepy crawlies! It's all part of the Adventure Season brought to you by Discovery this summer.

Megastructures: London's Olympic Stadium

There have been countless debates about what to do with the behemoth London 2012 Olympic stadium in the wake of the games this summer. But while the authorities ponder offers from massive football clubs for the 80,000 capacity venue, the structural engineers have ingeniously developed a structure that can be taken apart, Meccano-style, and downsized into a positively dinky 25,000 seater post-games.

Set in post-Civil-War America (1865) against the backdrop of the construction of the first transcontinental railway,this drama centers on former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon whose quest for vengeance has led him to the Union Pacific Railroad's westward construction in a bid to track down his wife's killer.His journey leads him to Hell on Wheels, a dangerous, raucous, lawless melting pot of atown that travels with and services the construction of the railroad, an engineering feat unprecedented for its time.

The infamous fairy tale gets the Twilight treatment with a help of former vamp franchise director Catherine Hardwicke. Mamma Mia's Amanda Seyfried stars as the eponymous Red (here named Valerie), whose scarlet robes have earned her a deadly admirer in the shape of a predatory werewolf. Will potential suitors, woodcutter Shiloh Fernandez and blacksmith Max Irons, be able to stop bickering long enough to save Val? Or will the wolf outwit them all?

Although the war of the machines rages on as ever, things are all change for hero Sam (Shia LaBeouf) as he finds a new love interest in Brit babe Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley). Does she have a few tricks up her sleeves to banish the baddies once and for all, or will she fall victim to their sneaky plans?

War Horse

The hotly anticiated - epic finally hits the silver screen, and who better to direct it than Hollywood's biggest director, Steven Spielberg? Newcomer Jeremy Irvine plays teenager Albert, who follows the horse he nurtured and trained onto the deadly battlefields of World War I. With man and beast separated in the line of duty, will either make it back to British shores? Unlike Spielberg's previous military movies, Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan, War Horse is a movie for all the family but, similar to its predecessors, still hits a powerful message home.

The Iron Lady

Meryl Streep gives the phenomenal performance of her career so far as Margaret Thatcher in Abi Morgan's long-awaited biopic. In portraying the private life of Thatcher, Streep is equally successful as in her championed reconstructions of Thatcher's battleaxe performances in the House of Commons. Jim Broadbent as Thatcher's late husband Dennis and Olivia Coleman as daughter Carol provide terrific support. A moving and controversial Brit flick worth watching for Streep's Oscar-winning turn alone.

Hugo

Rising star Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) and Chloë Moretz (Kick Ass) star in Martin Scorsese's Academy-Award nominated masterpiece. Lonely orphan Hugo has kept the clocks of the Parisian train station where he lives ticking since his father died in a museum fire. When his uncle goes missing and his father's timekeeping diagrams disappear, Hugo goes on a journey that may bring him closer to his father than he could have dreamed.

I Don't Know How She Does It

SJP ditches the charms of SATC's Carrie Bradshaw, switching from NY socialite to working Mum. Substitute notebooks for nappies, Cosmos for kids and Mr Big for Mr Reliable, Long-suffering and Wonderful. Stepping into the rather large shoes of the characters from Allison Pearson's best-selling book, Parker plays Finance Exec Kate who wades through the lists and traumas of motherhood by night and the drama and demands of a high-powered job in business by day. The bionic trio soon convince Leo to take them along to high school so they too can experience normal life.

Austin and Ally

This multi-camera comedy series follows the partnership between two polar opposites - Austin, an extroverted musician/singer, and Ally, a brilliant yet shy songwriter - and their two best friends, Trish and Dez. Unbeknownst to Ally, Austin and Dez "borrow" one of her songs, record it, create a video and post it on the Internet, after which it and Austin become overnight sensations. When Trish convinces Ally to tell the world she wrote the song, Austin pleads with her to write another hit for him. Instead, the two combine their talents to create a true musical tour-de-force.

House of Anubis
